HoP’s Upper Class is composed of men and women, ages 55 and up. We meet almost every month for various outings such as shopping, lunch, sightseeing and more.
Our events serve to bring us closer to one another and to God. If you have an idea for an event or would like to join us in our next endeavor, please see ministry leaders Paula Stewart or Phyllis Stiles.
HoP Children’s Ministries provides an interactive Sunday School experience for babies through age 12.
A nursery/toddler class is provided for children 4 and under. Children ages 5-12 will enjoy a traditional Sunday School program and a monthly kid’s service called ACTS. These services are held during our Sunday morning service. Wednesday evenings include a bi-weekly kid’s Bible study called RPM Kids.
Each hour is filled with fun and exciting hands-on learning while we dive into the Word of God through animated stories, music, games, puppets, crafts and snacks!
We have a vibrant ladies department at HoP. Our mission is to encourage, support and love each other. We have activities planned for our ladies group quarterly, including luncheons with encouraging guest speakers, shopping trips, coffee dates and more. Yearly events include Indiana Ladies Conference in Indianapolis, church family resale and holiday bazaar featuring crafts and home décor.
With many fun activities and social events, the greatest thing about our ladies department is this: young and old we come together to worship the King of Kings.
HoP’s Hyphen group is a network of young adults ages 18 – 30, who are striving together to find and act out God’s plan for our lives. We meet monthly or more often to study God’s word together and have fun. The goal of Hyphen is to see each person: grow in Godly wisdom, find their calling and role in the body of Christ and develop strong relationships with other young adults.
Hyphen encourages studying God’s word daily through devotional Bibles and daily prayer. If you are within this age category and may be interested in checking into what our Hyphen group offers, please give us a call. We would also be glad to provide transportation to any of our events.
The Men’s ministry at HoP meets quarterly for breakfasts and outings-like going to a South Bend Cubs baseball game and our annual trip to the Chicago Auto Show via the South Shore train.
The goal of Men’s ministry at HoP is to create a community of believers who share similar experiences and can relate one with another. Philippians 2:4 states, “Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” HoP men’s group looks to build each other up and encourage one another in Christ. We serve as a support and strength for each other as we grow in Christ.
We offer a variety of ministries that adhere to the specific needs of each defined age group. These groups are open to all! View our calendar to see upcoming events and find more information about each ministry below.
The Youth Group of the HoP is made up of teenagers ages 13-18. Nearly every Friday evening at the HoP is “youth night” where our young people gather to eat, play games and enjoy Godly fellowship.
Throughout the year our group joins other youth groups in the area for rallies where our young people worship with and meet other followers of Christ. At the end of the year, we attend the Holiday Youth Convention, a three-day convention in Indianapolis dedicated to the Pentecostal youth of Indiana.
Through these events and the word of God, we strive to minister to our young people and develop them into contributing members of our church and community.
